"Learn From, Connect With..." But So Much More

College Connect

Parsippany College Connect was started a year ago on a bright May day—in the midst of quarantine. A year later, PCC will transition to reflect the future of youth engagement in our community. It has been our pleasure working with community leaders, administrators, teachers, parents, alumni, and above all, Parsippany’s high school students.

PCC will transition to reflect the future of youth engagement in our community.

PCC was envisioned as an online platform for high schoolers to learn from and connect with college students. But it has grown to be much more than that. We have facilitated Zoom panels about the college admissions process, spotlighted graduating hometown college students, and paired mentees with college mentors that had the same interests and passions. Soon, we will be presenting a scholarship to two seniors who exemplify the core values of our organization.

If there was one thing we’ve learned from the pandemic, it has been the power of resilience. We’ve seen so many young people share their stories of loss, perseverance, and hope. PCC was created to build community and we hope it becomes an integral part of it. We would like to congratulate the graduating Class of 2021, for their grit and grace this year. We wish the new leadership team the best of luck as they continue PCC’s mission.
